Pet Dental Care

No one likes to go to the dentist, and it’s especially true about kids and pets. Fortunately, most parents can talk to their kids into flossing and brushing. Pets, on the other hand, need a little more supervision in the area of oral hygiene.

Microchipping

A microchip is a transponder device, about the size of a grain of rice, that is injected under the loose skin between your pet's should blades. It is a quick and minimally invasive process that can be completed at the time of any scheduled visit. It is no more invasive than a vaccination.

 

Vaccinations

Core vaccinations are generally recommended for all pets. Your pet's veterinarian will make specific recommendations for vaccines based on your pet's health.

Diet & Nutrition

The veterinarians at 5 Points Companion Animal Hospital believe that proper nutrition is the cornerstone of good preventative medicine. Each pet is unique in how he or she processes and absorbs food. It usually takes a close working relationship with a veterinarian to develop a diet protocol appropriate for a pet’s age, gender, activity level, body condition, and any medical issue that he or she might currently be experiencing.

The staff were so kind and attentive from the moment we walked through the door. They could tell I was worried and they immediately put me at ease, taking the time to listen to my concerns and do a thorough examination of my corgi pup. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything in a way that I could understand. I was relieved to find out that Winnie just had a minor stomach irritation and needed some medication. The vet took the time to go over the treatment plan with me and make sure I was comfortable with everything. The checkout process was a breeze as well - the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Ee left feeling so grateful and confident that Winnie was and continues to be in good hands.

It was a very tense and stressful when we took out little dog to the newly opened clinic since he was in a lot of distress, the staff was extremely caring and polite.
